April 11, 2009 Hello friends, We're back to share more crafty events on the horizon here at the Etsy Labs and in Brooklyn. We hope to see you at one of these hands-on happenings! News from the Etsy Labs: 4/13 Craft Night
Spring is nearly here! Time to think about picnics in the park, outdoor brunches and rooftop dinner parties! Join us at Craft Night on Monday, April 13, and learn how to spruce up your table with cheerful appliquéd cloth napkins based on this Scrappy Tablecloth project from Weekend Sewing by fabric and clothing designer Heather Ross. This is a great project for using up all those random scraps of fabric or apparel with large, interesting motifs and can be used to embellish all sorts of items. Please bring with you a t-shirt, pillowcase, totebag, or napkins to applique upon. Mini Banner Recap If you happened to miss making mini banners with the wonderful Nicole from astulabee at Craft Night last week, be sure to check out her tutorial on this project right here.
