See if you can spot the super awesome shout-out to Etsy Teams in there. Now more than ever Etsy Teams embody the communal spirit of the handmade movement. What better time to download the Teams Toolkit for tips on fun and productive holiday-related team bonding activities? Team Spirit Award! I'd like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to this week's Team Spirit Award recipient — the Native American Forum: Walking the Red Road. What began two years ago as a casual thread in the Promotions forum inquiring about interest in National Native American Heritage Month (happening now!) has become a flourishing team with over 500 members. In addition to being a familial and supportive network for all the members, the team holds cyber "Gatherings" on the last Thursday of each month. They have also started a Seed Bank for cultivating and protecting the organically-grown seed stock of endangered and hard-to-find native plants. As one of the leaders said in her nomination for the team, "we are all one in spirit and that cannot be anything but all good." Throughout November and December we are going to be crowning one team per week with a Team Spirit Award. There's still time to nominate more teams!
