Etsy News: Facebook & Favorites

Hello there,

Today we launched two improvements to the site which will enable you to share Etsy with your friends:

  • Facebook Connect — You can now integrate your Etsy experience with Facebook.com, the preeminent social networking site. Enabling Facebook Connect allows shoppers to share their Favorites and sellers to share their products as they list their items. (All activity is completely optional.) Learn more in this blog post.
  • Share Your Favorites — We made a number of improvements to the popular Favorites site feature — ranging from usability tweaks (No more grey boxes!) to displaying your Favorites on your Profile page, plus more. See details here.

Additionally, Sara published a Talking Product post that gives insight into Etsy's priority list for product development for the remainder of 2009. Mary also put out a call for sellers who want to be involved in a special "Fourth of July Weekend Free Shipping" sales promotion on Etsy.
