August 24, 2009 Last DIY Thursday — Don't Miss It!  Don't miss our last DIY Thursday craft night at the Museum of Arts and Design. Drop in between 6-8 p.m., this Thursday, August 27 with a workshop led by artist Aaron McIntosh. Aaron will be demonstrating how to make cool coasters using paper quilting techniques. Using a variety of papers, participants will piece a small block pattern and make it into a waterproof coaster with vinyl casing. Materials will be provided. The workshops are free with pay-what-you-wish admission to the museum. Click here for directions.
