Growing up, my crafty mom always made sure that my brothers and I had costumes that won first place in every Halloween contest we entered. She was so good at giving a kid the most perfect five o'clock shadow that my grandparents didn't even recognize my little brother in his Rambo costume when he went trick or treating on their doorstep. I had so much fun playing dress up as a child, and have continued the tradition of the handmade costume into my adult years.

Trick or Treating
Dressing up isn't the only fun part of Halloween. Giving out candy to all the neighborhood trick or treaters is also a huge part of the excitement. These candy bowls and trick or treat sacks will bring a smile from the most surly monster at your doorstep.
