After 12 years of life in the big city, Becke decided it was time for a lifestyle change. She and her husband were soon on their way to restoring their newfound rural home from its Grey Gardens-like deterioration. Becke thinks her decorating style is "mostly influenced by modesty and practicality, with a whole lot of happenstance." She says that 90% of her home decor was purchased at flea markets, yard sales or right here on Etsy, and states, "the fun of decorating is the challenge of making finds from different eras and styles all work together."
