I've noticed that sellers who are tapped into Etsy Teams, hang out in the Virtual Labs or connect with others on social networks have seen more success in their Etsy shops. We've just launched another way you can stay connected, Activity Feeds. Follow your activity feed to see when you make a sale, when someone has favorited your shop or item, and get an update every time your item is featured in a treasury. I suggest becoming familiar with this new feature — it makes Etsy even more fun!

Have you ever been deterred from a purchasing a gift because you weren't sure you'd get it on time? Make sure your buyers don't face this dilemma! Add your shipping deadlines to your shop announcement, shop profile, policy page, and/or each item listing.

Here are three tips for selling your work to local buyers:
  2. Join your local Etsy Team and promote together.
 3. Talk up your hometown in your item listings. Even a simple, "Made in Chicago," can help a local reporter or shopper find you!
