Is It Local?

One of the best things about Etsy Teams is that they are built around almost anything — a common goalinterest, or even first name. Back in 2005, Etsy Teams were created mainly around common locations to encourage Etsy members to meet up in real life. Years later, location-based teams continue to rock it in the real world by producing community events and solidifying their relationships online and off.
Get involved with a team near you by searching your city, state, territory, or country in the Teams search bar. Can't find one that fits? Start your own! Read on to get inspired by some of the activies and events going on in local communities the world over.

Kicking Off Spring Show Season
From the Spring Bash in Dallas to the Spring Handmade Cavalcade in New York, May 5 seems to mark the opening of the spring craft show season across the United States.
It's not too late to get involved with teams still planning their upcoming events. The Music City Makers are accepting applications for the Porter Flea, taking place in Nashville on June 16.
The Chicago Craft Mafia is hosting The Craft Racket: Getting Your Crafts Into Shops on April 10. It will be a free networking event focused on selling consignment and wholesale.
Additionally, Boston Handmade is accepting new member applications through April 27.
Near Vancouver? Swing by the studio at Blim to meet your fellow makers and Etsy Admin on April 23, 6-9 p.m. Nada, the Canadian Community Specialist, and I would love to chat with you after hanging out at the Make It! Handmade Festival, April 20-22.
