Today's Zodiac Etsy Finds salute the styles of Aries the Ram (March 21 to April 19) and Taurus the Bull (April 20 to May 20). These spring astrological birthdays symbolize fresh beginnings and nubile creativity. Despite notoriously putting their horns up to fight, both bulls and rams are kind creatures who make genuinely lovable friends.
Aries is ruled by the head, fire and war. Hats, hair accessories, make up, metal tools and jewelry, red hot colors and bold statements keep this impatient sign occupied and dazzled. Aries loves glamor, but in the home, they keep things efficient and clever — never fussy. Aries is mesmerized by a roaring fire and connects to the warmth and pliability of wood. My favorite Aries are Robert Kalin and Lady Gaga.
Taurus is the gardener of the zodiac and is often compared to Ferdinand, the reluctant warrior smelling flowers under the cork tree. Taurus' green earth sign is ruled by the neck, so this style is focused on interesting necklines, perfumes and necklaces. Small beading and embroidery details, leather pants and interesting accessories, such as anything lace-up, are hallmark Taurus styles. Their homes are tranquil, super comfortable, and are lightly scented with violet, lily, hyacinth, and rose. My favorite Tauruses are Cher and Audrey Hepburn.
