June 18, 2010 Hi everyone! You are receiving this email because at some point you signed up for the Etsy Teams Newsletter. My name is Morgan Evans, and I am Etsy’s Teams and Events Coordinator. Since January I have been working on increasing the visibility and success of Teams, both within the context of Etsy and on a global scale. This Newsletter will be sent out on a weekly basis to let you know what’s going on with Etsy Teams on the site and all over the world. I will also be keeping you posted about what’s in store for the future of Teams. Right now we are working long and hard on the new Groups tool that is going to make it easier to create, join and run Teams on Etsy.  Team News From All Over The Etsy Latino Team wrote a great bilingual article about unique Father’s Day gift options on Etsy. Check it out! Check out this super helpful Etsy Blog post filled with team-building tips from the Rhode Island Handmade Team. The Etsy Team Grants Program is going strong. Next month’s Grant Applications are due July 15th! As you may or may not know, I am hosting weekly Office Hours in the Virtual Labs every Tuesday to talk about Teams and answer any questions people may have about the program. Next week’s meeting will be on Tuesday, June 22 at 5 p.m. ET. All are welcome to join the chat! Just come to the Virtual Labs and click on "Classroom." What's Going on at Etsy? In honor of creative communities across the globe, we're using the Meetups Everywhere tool to throw a huge party today, June 18 (which is also Etsy's birthday). It's not too late to find out about an Etsy Craft Party near you. The countdown has started — have a look at the last-minute tips. In celebration of Craft Party, members nominated items for a special party-themed collection. Vote here for your favorite!
