| | August 29, 2010 This weekend's Get the Look: Decor is inspired by the Atlanta, Georgia home of Cary Walker. This self-taught artist and unschooling mama of two kids is decorating her first home after living in NYC for 11 years. Cary's decorating style is influenced by her desire to create a stimulating environment for her children while sticking to a limited budget. She embellishes her home with vintage finds, as well as handmade curtains and pillows sewn from repurposed vintage fabrics. She and her children also love to collect nature specimens to display throughout their home. Aside from being a busy mama, Cary also runs an Etsy shop at littleloveblue where she sells adorable handsewn animals and nature-inspired artwork. She recently started a new venture with her talented sister inspired by handmade and vintage weddings at prairieseed. Cary's mom also runs a wonderful vintage shop at imsovintage.
