Calling all fine artists, doodlers, and pen-wielding daydreamers! Have you heard about the Sketchbook Project? This bold undertaking encourages artists to create singular sketchbooks, which are then exhibited in locations around the world. In the words of The Sketchbook Project team, “It’s like a concert tour, but with sketchbooks.” If you’d like to join the 2012 Sketchbook Project and receive your blank book right away, please sign up online to get started. Use the discount code: “ETSYHIGHFIVE” for $5 off the participation fee, feel free to share it with family and friends.  You can also learn 5 sketchbook tips from them in this week's How-Tuesday post.

Join in the fun to learn how to build interactive toys that can react and respond to the real world in Brooklyn. Make 'zines in Los Angeles, and find the meaning of “photo feelism” in San Francisco. Craft on!

More info on all 3 events.

Do You Belong?

Our friends at 3rd Ward have long been offering amazing opportunities to learn new skills, find inspiration and become part of a community. Their space is designed to help you get to work. Now is a better time than ever to get involved; they've recently lowered their monthly membership rates to make all this goodness even more accessible.

Have a wonderful week!
