December 18, 2009 Come Craft With The Uniform Project & Megan Nicolay of Generation T Have you ever done a 365 day challenge? What's your New Year's resolution? How about starting by giving old clothes new lives? This week, on Monday, December 21, visit the Etsy Labs for a used clothing swap and clothing reinvention project. The Uniform Project will talk about the 365 day challenge they're pursuing to raise money and awareness about disadvantaged school children. We'll also make a project with Megan Nicolay, author of Generation T. She will teach a no-sew project for turning your old t-shirts into something new and fresh. Please bring along some used clothing you'd like to swap with other attendees and cut up and reinvent with Megan. When: Monday, December 21. Drop in any time between 4 to 8 p.m. ET. Holiday Craft Bazaar in Brooklyn, NY This Sunday, December 20, stop by the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for some holiday shopping with a charitable spirit. All proceeds go to B.A.R.C., a local animal shelter. The Holiday Craft Bazaar runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, at 361 Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. Love, Julie Etsy Labs
