Having a bit of a holiday rush in your shop? Remember to make the most of the views, hearts and sales! Here are a few things to think about...

.Quit Your Day Job: jill2day
In the latest Quit Your Day Job interview with jill2day, we asked Jill for her top tips. Here's my favorite:  I always keep in mind that repeat customers are gold — and fun. So I really am trying to build relationships and listen to my customers' ideas — not just sell them stuff! Consequently I am doing many custom items. I love to do these, because they are often for people who have had a hard time finding their size in “fun” clothes before, so they are so excited to have these items made, and we have so much fun planning the garment. They come up with some great ideas to challenge me!

.Holiday Shipping Deadlines
Don't forget to let your shoppers know about your holiday shipping deadlines. Need help setting your holiday shipping deadlines? Check out our latest shipping how-to here.

. Five Photos!
I can't stress this point enough — try to use all five photo spots in your item listings. Use these spots to show the back, inside and close-up details of your items. Consider photographing the item in an environment (for example, hang a painting in a nicely decorated room). And since most people are buying gifts right now, it can help to show how you creatively package your items. Remember, your photos should give a buyer a three-dimensional idea of this item. So make sure you are giving them an idea of the size, texture and details with your photos! More photo tips on Etsy's blog, The Storque.

Happy holidays,

Danielle
