My main piece of advice is to come up with bonding activities, like a shared project, and figure out a way to involve as many people as possible in making it a success. Doing this enables members to share the responsibility and the glory that goes into pulling off something awesome in the name of the team. Join me in the Virtual Labs at  7 p.m. ET tomorrow (Tuesday, October 4) evening. It is an inspiring write-up about the power of crafting and the concrete emotional and physical benefits gained from doing things with your hands. One of the earliest interest-based (a.k.a. global) teams, Etsy Metal, is celebrating its fourth anniversary this month. They are hosting a gift certificate giveaway to celebrate!
