February 8, 2009

This weekend's Get the Look: Decor is inspired by the San Francisco home of crafter, photographer and costume designer Mariah Gardner. Her home contains an incredible mix of classic furniture and trinkets, which almost gives the feeling of stepping back in time. However, her amazing collection of modern art and accessories let you know you haven't left the present. I could spend days exploring every room of Mariah's home, with its well-placed vintage finds, plants, books and curiosities.

If you are interested in putting your own spin on this classic look with a modern twist, check out this collection of Etsy items to help get you started. You can view more photos of Mariah Gardner's home and read her interview in the House Tours section on Apartment Therapy
