| | September 19, 2010 This weekend's Get the Look: Decor is inspired by the Brooklyn apartment of Etsy's own Alison Feldmann, a.k.a. TeenAngster. She and her boyfriend Jeff, as well as kittens Bug and Dagmar, reside on a lovely street lined with towering trees and Italian grannies in housedresses. Alison's decorating style invokes a mishmash influences: an aristocratic library filled with fragrant pipe smoke, militaria, the Old West, plant-stuffed atriums and morbid artifacts. Her favorite places to shop are Iowa thrift stores (her home state), Craigslist and Etsy. Almost everything in her apartment is vintage, used or handmade. By night Alison takes to her personal blog TeenAngster, to obsess about all things curious, obsolete and eccentric.
