Snapping for Success

If you create and sell any kind of flat two-dimensional object, you know it's not so easy to create captivating photos. I asked Jaime and Amy (both illustrators and instructors) to share easy tips on the cheap to help make those photos excite potential buyers in this post: Photographing 2D Artwork

Devin Poolman, co-founder of Metricly, believes that "no matter the size of your shop, you can learn a lot by tracking your sales and shop data. Who is buying your products? How much are they spending on average? How much are you selling to new customers versus existing customers? And of course, the big question is, how can you sell more products?" In this Etsy Blog post, Dave explains how Metricly can help you answer and address these questions.

"I create mood boards every season by pulling together images of things I like, and it soon becomes clear that the images have a common thread. You need to find the thing that drives you, and then selling it to others should become easy!"
