(Vintage Finds readers may have noticed this fact!) Whether it's traveling freak shows of yore, Medieval art and armor, Russian futurism, or the rustic log cabin lifestyle epitomized in Little House on the Prairie, history and its varied fashions, aesthetics and affectations entrance me. My latest historical obsession is the Victorian era. I'm assembling a newfound collection of cabinet photos, tintypes, mourning jewelry and a cabinet of curiosities full of natural wonders. Today's Vintage Finds are dedicated to the Victorian era and its delicate lace, somber portraits, formal fashions and dark undertones.
