July 24, 2009 Join the Etsy Labs at the Last Open Craft Night on Gold Street  On Monday, July 27, we're hosting an open Craft Night. This week we are throwing the doors of the Etsy Labs wide open and letting you work on any project that strikes your fancy. Bring along any project you'd like to develop during this week's Craft Night, or start a brand new project using our tools and extra supplies. The sky's the limit!
Important note: This will be the last Craft Night in our current home on Gold Street. Craft Night will be canceled for the month of August during our transition to a new space in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The grand opening Craft Night in our new location will be held on Monday, September 14, so mark your calendars!
Open Call for Craft Instructors at 3rd Ward  3rd Ward is looking for instructors for their growing craft education program. A note from 3rd Ward's Education Coordinator: "In partnership with Etsy, we've been delighted to offer introductory sewing, bookbinding and embroidery classes. You can help us fill out our current line-up or feel free to propose a new and unusual workshop concept. Even the sky might not be the limit. We've had inflatable sculpture and edible paper classes!
